
About the Authors
Two graduate students at Ontario Tech University have taken interest and passion for researching intergenerational trauma. As part of a final assignment for a course, Paula and Melissa collaborated to make a website that informs and distributes information about intergenerational trauma implications on youth from an educational perspective.

Paula is an Ontario Certified Teacher and a life-long learner. Currently, she is an occasional high school teacher with Toronto District School Board, teaching biology and general science. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and is currently enrolled in the Master of Education program at Ontario Tech. University. In her spare time, Paula enjoys reading and going for walks.
Paula Brown
Melissa is a childhood educator at an afterschool program in the GTA. She believes that education is a journey, not a destination and seeks to improve herself. She graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care. Currently, Melissa is enrolled in the Master of Education program at Ontario Tech University. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and working out.
